Design and Repair to Jetty at Canadian Forces Maritime Experimental and Test Ranges (CFMETR)

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. The Project involves repairs to the CFMETR Jetty located at CFMETR in Nanoose, British Columbia. Work will include repairs to the vehicle guards, minor deck repairs, timber bearing and batter pile replacement, replacement of miscellaneous structural timbers, repairs to concrete on adjacent float, installation of new safety ladders and replacement of anodes on all steel piles.

October 29, 2023 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Department of National Defence is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
