Nzen'man' Bird's Nest Project

The proposed project is to build a new 1456 m2 community centre. The Nzen'man' Center will include a paved parking lot with a bus loop.

Project components include:

  • Site clearing and access road development including the clearing of all obstructions (shrubs, overburden, etc.) and grading to accommodate utility service routes.
  • Service installation and connection for water, sewer and urban storm water drainage systems, electric, gas, telephone and cable television services.
  • Construction of the Nzen'man' Center building.

The Nzen'man' Centre will provide a space within the community to fulfill multiple services, such as childcare and youth programming, a library space, adult learning centre, youth afterschool & drop in programs, prenatal services, and developmental aids specialist spaces. The centre also includes a large cultural gathering space, a commercial teaching kitchen, meeting rooms, community café & elders lounge, public computer access, and rental office space.
