The Proposed Project

The Department of National Defence (DND) is proposing a project. The Ramp/Apron Lighting Upgrade Project will include the removal of the existing lighting system, including lighting bases, fixtures, towers and associated equipment. A centrally located lighting control building will be constructed, and new concrete bases, light standards, light fixtures, power infrastructure and control systems will be installed. This work involves trenching for conduit installation and excavation for other works, which will take place through previously developed and existing grassy, concrete, and asphalt areas. Anticipated equipment includes excavator(s), possibly a horizontal directional drill, flatbed truck, dump truck(s), crane, various vehicles, and handheld tools/equipment.
